Captain Kurt

Passion for the pursuit of the catch quickly became a way of life for Captain Kurt, a fifth-generation Texan practically born on the water in Corpus Christi. After spending his foremost years on the bay with his older brother, fishing became king to the captain. And to him, the Striper is the king of fish.

Captain Kurt has enjoyed it all—from fishing off the coast of Miami to the Islands of Hawaii and everything in between. While hooking a big Blue Marlin off the island of Maui or taking a Red Snapper or Kingfish in the Gulf of Mexico is a charge, Captain Kurt’s true love is fishing Texas lakes. And to him, nothing beats the thrill of the fight with a big ‘ole Striper from Lake Texoma on the Texas/Oklahoma border. Captain Kurt is an all-around outdoorsman, enjoying both bow and rifle hunting.

Give the captain a ring and he’ll show you some true Texas hospitality. He has stories galore, and if you feel your leg being tugged at, well, I’m not sure what that is! Let Captain Kurt show you why the Striper is the king of Texoma. You are sure to experience one of the best times you’ll ever have on a Texas lake.
